Who We Are
The founder of Mix It Up Bartending & Events is a proud Miami born Cuban decent Florida native that attended Florida International University, receiving a Bachelor Degree in her favorite and most passionate major, Hospitality Management and has been professionally in the Hospitality Industry for over 20 years in both Restaurant and Hotel. As teaching for the best Bartending School in town, ABC Bartending Schools, for several years, this launched her to the next level. This triggered the creation of her very own company Mix It Up Bartending & Events.
Mix It Up Bartending & Events has been in business since 1999 catering to all of South Florida, from the Keys to West Palm Beach. Our clients become family and our regulars continue to use us and give us word-of-mouth referrals due to our strong history and lasting effect of the excellent service they receive. This to us is very valuable and should be taken into consideration when choosing the right bartender for you.
Our events include all; young and old, rich and poor, small and big, multi-cultural, private or commercial, alcoholic or non-alcoholic and all types of events, functions, and venues. We are Bi-Lingual in English and Spanish and available for personal event consultations, any last minute emergencies, available 24 /7/365 which includes all Holidays. Mix It Up loves to be up to date with the latest drink fads as well as taking it back to the classic and traditional drinks that are making a comeback. The professional team that serves you will have upmost training, extensive drink recipe knowledge, proper techniques and sciences behind the art, a working experience out in the real word of bar. They will all serve in a responsible and safe manner with a fantastic personality to go with it. We also enjoy being part of functions with guests from all parts of the world. We adapt to our client’s cultural and ethnic background and so do our drinks. Working in the industry has allowed us to be affiliated and work with many companies in the Events world as well as networking with many talented individuals that offer quality standards in their art.
Therefore, Mix It Up not only offers bartending services but other services such hosts(ess), servers, cocktail waitresses, cooks, event planners, glassware and party rentals, flower arrangements, photography, disc jockeys (DJ’s), simple bar food catering such as appetizers or hors d’ oeuvres, regular catering, valet parking, security, and entertainment.
